Snack time!

Raise your hand if you’re on a diet! Or like healthy snacks! Or like tasty treats! Okay. Are all the hands up yet?

This is a quick, yummy, low calorie and nutritionally healthful snack. And you only need two ingredients!

1 small frozen banana (about 6”)

½ cup of milk (try nonfat, light soy, or almond)

Using an immersion blender, mix the milk and banana starting with the mixer near the surface of the milk; this will aerate the milk. Once fully blended, you will end up with a creamy frozen concoction that will taste like fresh banana ice cream!

Made with light soy, this treat is only 125 calories; made with nonfat milk, it’s 135 calories.

If you’re feeling especially indulgent, add a teaspoon of chocolate syrup! Yum!
