Cold Season is Here!

It’s the time of year when people catch colds and come down with other various ailments. I know this, in fact, firsthand because I am just getting over my first seasonal cold. The sneezing and incessant nose blowing typically leaves me with a reddened, sore schnozz. I discovered a while back that tissues with lotion added greatly reduce the problem, but this time around I found something even better!

Do you remember when you were a kid and Mom used to rub Vicks on your chest to help alleviate congestion? It helped you breathe better and you felt comforted… Remember?! Really! When you’re miserable with a cold, any little thing helps, and this product made me feel less stuffy with every blow! Simply salad

Ah, this recommendation is sheer brilliance on the part of the creators! Admittedly, this is not my recipe. (Visit Paparazzi in DC for the place where I first tried this elegant concoction!) That said, this is the simplest, most delicious salad ever, ever, ever. I live for this salad. I’m not fooling.

Unadorned and pure – I give you the four-ingredient recipe (six, if you count salt and pepper to taste!):

• Baby Arugula
• Dress with olive oil
• And fresh lemon juice
• Top with shaved Asiago

Trust me. There is no way to mess this up. You will end up with the loveliest salad worthy of applause!

I thought quite a bit about what my inaugural product ramblings would center on, and I’ve settled on one of my most go-to beauty products. Today I am writing about my love for MAC eye shadow in Naked Lunch.
